The Azimuth Theodolite is designed by a German missionary called Bernard-Kilian Stumpf in 1715.It combined the functions of Altazimuth and Quadrant. It is the only one decorated with Renaissance style patterns, rather than the Chinese traditional cloud and dragon pattern.
